Data centers are springing up all over the country, and leaving environmental and economic consequences in their wake. Funded by the wealthiest corporations on earth, they are trampling the democratic process with backroom deals. We are here to stand up, speak up, and empower the millions of Americans whose voices of protest is not being heard. We are a people-powered nonprofit formed with one goal in mind: to support communities in their declaration of independence from data centers and the AI industry.

Our mission is simple: expose the hidden costs of the cloud, organize affected communities, and build political pressure to demand transparency, regulation, and community consent before a single shovel hits the ground.

We are not anti-technology. We are anti-exploitation. The same companies promising a greener future are draining aquifers, clear-cutting forests, and bypassing local democracy to build massive server farms with zero community input.
